Rio Tinto responded to Interface News that the news was true and would release an official statement later. Rio Tinto has said it has no operating assets or employees in Russia and Ukraine. But its Oyu Tolgoi copper-gold project in Mongolia, which buys fuel and other commodities from Russia, will be affected.
